Villain, Don’t Run! The System Is Making Me Win You Over

Shen Yunwei [offbeat, warm little sunshine] × Wen Zhuohan [cold, deranged, beautiful and tragic]

[Both devoted × both strong]

Shen Yunwei, the most adored princess of the Liuli Kingdom, accidentally bound herself to System Qiqi after nearly choking to death.

Qiqi (planting its nonexistent hands on its hips): Host, you have to win over Wen Zhuohan!

Shen Yunwei: I won’t. What are you going to do about it?

Qiqi: ...If you don’t win over Wen Zhuohan, the hostage prince from the Southern Kingdom, the whole nation will be forced to die with him.

Shen Yunwei’s gaze turned resolute. I’m in! No one is better suited than me to win him over! Qiqi: Wen Zhuohan will eventually become a major villain and destroy the Liuli Kingdom. Good luck, Host!

To keep the good things in life from being destroyed, Shen Yunwei had no choice but to grit her teeth and bring Wen Zhuohan food every day.

At first, Wen Zhuohan thought she was bringing him his last meal, and stayed on his guard.

But day after day, her warmth gradually melted his frozen heart.

Then Shen Yunwei fell seriously ill and could no longer bring him food. To his own surprise, he climbed onto her bed with red-rimmed eyes and begged in a low voice, “Will you bring me food? Even if it’s my last meal...”

Later, Shen Yunwei realized it wasn’t that she didn’t want good things to be destroyed.

She simply didn’t want someone as wonderful as Wen Zhuohan to go down a path of no return.
