Yan Li, the youngest colonel of the 21st century, leaves the military to pursue his dream of research, only to be knocked into a remote planet in the stars by a mysterious force while observing a total solar eclipse.
After surviving alone for four months, he finds a fist-sized pink octopus in a sinkhole. It’s soft, clingy, loves eating flowers, and crawls into his neck whenever a bee stings it. He names it "Little Bee."
Later, the octopus turns into a human. The fifteen-year-old boy has an otherworldly, breathtakingly beautiful face, silver hair, a red beauty mark, and eyes that seem to sparkle with flirtation. He looks too beautiful to be real, but all he does is follow Yan Li around, calling, "Yan Li, I want to eat flowers!"
But the day its identity is exposed, it loses control, destroys the entire remote planet, and runs away.
He searches for it for over half a year, until one day he runs into someone in a locust-flower grove who eats flowers exactly the same way.
