[Steampunk + Cthulhu + Mysterious Reasoning + Sequential Growth + Power Has a Price + Puppet Attack]
[A world in a Western fantasy Cthulhu, will it become even crazier when the pseudo-humans attack?
When Lu Chen, a graduate student in the Department of History, opened his eyes, he found that he was a corpse that had been lying dormant for three days at the Royal Academy of Fog City.
The autopsy records confirmed that he was dead, but he was obviously still alive; when he traveled through time, he found only one warning:
"Don't answer your name during roll call on the school anniversary."
In order to avoid being permanently detained by the official investigation bureau, Lu Chen must find out the death of his original body within twenty-one days, and prevent the cult from using the names and breaths of all the teachers and students in the school to bring about the arrival of a certain deep-sea being.
His only reliance is a [Blank Secret Book] that can copy, annotate, and reorganize taboo secret pages.
It can dismantle rules and borrow power, but it is never free. Every time he uses power, there is a strange voice in Lu Chen's mind. The closer he gets to the truth, the less sure he is whether it is Lu Chen, Ashley, or the secret book that he is thinking about.
What's even more frightening is that a group of "fake people" are appearing in the foggy city.
They have correct memories and play a correct life, but they have long lost their self-awareness; who have they replaced, and who will be replaced?
Could this world, full of crazy supernatural powers, get any crazier?
