True Man Fang

After his father dies in a hunting accident, Fang Hao, a young herb gatherer whose mother is gravely ill at home, heads into the mountains to gather herbs. There, he unexpectedly obtains a small furnace. On his way back to the village, he discovers that the entire village has been slaughtered and his mother has died a tragic death.

A passing cultivator unexpectedly rescues him and takes him into an immortal sect as a disciple.

He later discovers the small furnace's wondrous abilities: it can refine all things and improve their quality.

From then on, he cultivates diligently, seeking revenge for his mother, slaying evil cultivators, and embarking on the path to immortality.
