Reborn as a Mantis, I Evolved into a Void Reaver!

[Ruthless and Decisive] [Status-Panel Style] [Exotic Beast Evolution]

Su Nian is reborn as a newly hatched mantis larva, squeezed into a crack in the stinking walls of a sewer.

Not far away, a mutated rat the size of a palm turns to look at him.

[Ding! Prey detected: Iron-Toothed Gray Rat (F Rank, Huntable)]

[Cicada-Hunting Settlement activated.]

[After a kill, chance to plunder trait: Iron Teeth (Green)]

The hunt begins! Su Nian strikes straight at its vulnerable throat.

[Kill successful! Constitution +2, Blade Bone +1, Trait acquired: Iron Teeth (Green)]

After that, the sewer's rats, wild cats, and spirit snakes, the packs of wolves outside the city, and the martial arts students at the academy all become settlement records on his panel, one after another.

Later, human martial artists discover in terror that a knife-wielding mantis has awakened beneath the city.

It raises its twin scythes, its blade intent so oppressive that martial artists throughout the world can barely breathe.
