(Lying flat in a fifth-tier city + writing novels for Tomato Novel + everyday slice of life + getting rich while lying flat + no show-off-and-face-slapping)

Chen Yu is a Tomato Novel author. After writing for years, his work has never taken off. Only by keeping three books going at once can he barely earn over ten thousand yuan a month.

One day, he wakes up reborn two years in the past, on the day his boss was about to pin the blame on him and send him packing.

In his previous life, he put up with it, and ended up losing both his job and his wealth.

This time, he slammed the table, took his N+1 severance pay, and headed straight back to his fifth-tier hometown.

He had made up his mind: write novels, lie flat, and never put up with anyone's nonsense again.

With two years of memories to rely on, he went further and further down the path of lying flat, and along the way, helped the people around him get back on their feet, too.

Years later, he looked at his bank balance and fell into deep thought:

Wasn't I supposed to go home and lie flat?
