This is a world with "two lives": a human being when born, and a spirit after death. Spirit does not only refer to the soul, but the life form in which the soul resides in the spirit body. It cannot be captured or harmed. It can perceive things through communication with spiritual power and cannot directly affect the world. Lingke can sign a spiritual contract with the warrior to fight together. The former is called the contract spirit, and the latter is the contract person. The spirit will not die directly, only the death of the contracted person will bring an end.
