The Celestial Dew appears once every three hundred years.
Ye Hongyu broke out of her coffin and came into the world as an emotionless young zombie.
Her master, Li Cuihua, warned her: If you want to cultivate the Dao and become human, first learn how to behave like a person.
So Ye Hongyu obediently studied and delved into the ways of human interaction.
But things often went wrong.
The demon fleeing for its life gave up completely. "I'm tired. Just destroy the world! Kill me or torture me, I don't care!"
Ye Hongyu cited the classics: "No, the departed are like a flowing river, day and night without pause."
The demon was bewildered. "What does that mean?"
Ye Hongyu: "When dealing with the dead, you should chase them day and night without pause, then kill them."
The demon: "..."
An evil spirit merely glanced at Ye Hongyu.
Ye Hongyu glared. "What are you looking at?!"
The evil spirit shot back. "What are you looking at me for?!"
Ye Hongyu charged over and beat it senseless.
The evil spirit burst into tears. "Are you crazy?!"
Ye Hongyu beamed. "Everyone gets sick. I've been single-mindedly cultivating the Dao so I can become human, and now I've finally gotten sick!"
On a moonless, windy night.
The zombie trembled. "Are you... going to kill me?"
Ye Hongyu put on a serious face. "Look at me. Am I human or a zombie?"
The zombie was baffled. "Aren't... we the same kind?"
Ye Hongyu's expression turned murderous. "The same kind?"
The zombie quivered. "So should I say you look human, or not?"
Ye Hongyu hurled a palm thunderbolt at it. "Useless! Those without brains don't deserve to live!"
A dazed, adorable zombie girl furiously learns how to be human while punching demons and kicking evil spirits.
On her path to cultivating the Dao and becoming human, she strays further and further off course.
Does the heroine eat people? They are not the same species anymore. If they eat more people, their cultivation can be stronger.
