My grandfather died and left me a used bookstore.
There is a wooden sign hanging at the door of the store that reads: Stories accepted, no money required.
I originally thought this was a place selling used books, until someone knocked on the door in the middle of the night. A soaked old man stood at the door and said to me: "I'm here to hand in a story."
Later I learned that there are some words in this world that will remain where they are before someone dies. Others can't hear it, but I can. I had to write them down in an old blue book, and if I got them right, the story would fall apart. If you make a mistake or put off writing, those things will come back.
This job sounds quite hellish, but it's actually not that scary. It just takes a little courage.
My neighbors take good care of me. Song Yan from the barber shop next door always says that I have a tough life. I asked her why, and she said: "You dare to guard this store by yourself. Isn't that a tough life?" Later I learned that she was more complicated than those stories.
Each story is collected independently, some will make you cry, some will make you laugh, some will be scary and some will be heart-warming. But in the end, I found that my grandfather seemed to be involved in all these stories.
How many other things has he hidden from me? Who opens this bookstore?
[Easy to scare, folklore and ghost stories, collect stories, don't raise ghosts]
