Only 30 Days Left: The World Is Erasing Me Completely

My name is Xia Xiaoying. I can see how long everyone has left to live.

That morning, the girl in the mirror had only thirty days left.

Then the world began to forget me: my teacher skipped over my seat during roll call, my face grew blurrier in every group photo, and even my mom called less often.

Only Zheng Ziyang was different.

He remembered every little thing I did, that I didn't eat cilantro, and where I sat in my first class.

This is the forty-first lifetime he's spent by my side, waiting for me to die.

This time, I'll be the one to remember him.

Being forgotten = death. Being remembered = more time to live.
