On her sixteenth birthday, Ning Anran, the vicious supporting female character, is forced by the System to jump off a rooftop and complete her cannon-fodder exit. But all five members of her family fall, too, because her parents and three older brothers rush to save her and are pulled down one after another.
To save the world’s key supporting characters, the System exhausts its power and rewinds time, but a bug occurs. Suddenly, everyone in the Ning family can hear Ning Anran’s thoughts.
Only then do they learn that the wicked daughter who spent the past year causing chaos and turning their lives upside down had been forced by the System to complete tasks every time she threw a tantrum, smashed something, or said something cruel. She didn’t dare resist, afraid of bringing trouble to her family, so she bore it all alone, secretly thinking, “I’m sorry, Mom.”
Ning’s mother breaks down on the spot.
Ning’s father and her three older brothers exchange a silent glance. They decide to drag the System out of hiding and take their little sister back.
