No one called Lin Yue’s name at the draft, and the Chinese player was left disappointed when he went undrafted.
The scouting report was crystal clear: Kawhi Leonard was his comparison, but he could only defend. His offense was practically nonexistent, and his ceiling was that of a top-tier 3-and-D role player.
Everyone was convinced he could do no more than scrape by in the NBA on a minimum contract.
Little did they know that Lin Yue had awakened the [Reverse Shock System]!
All he had to do was astonish opponents, superstars, or the crowd to unlock new talents!
He came off the bench in garbage time and drilled one deep three after another, lighting up the whole arena!
His death-grip defense shut down the league’s top stars, while Shaq-level strength let him go toe-to-toe with big men in the paint!
From an off-ball role player, he evolved into a complete powerhouse on both ends of the floor!
Curry: “Don’t give him even a foot of space. This guy’s threes make no sense!”
Durant: “Trying to shake him off on defense is a nightmare.”
The media was dumbfounded: Weren’t they saying this undrafted player could only defend?
An undrafted rookie rises up and proves the whole league wrong!
He claims the MVP, wins championships, builds a dynasty, and leads Chinese basketball to the top of the world!
