Wang Lei transmigrates into Kong Rong, the historical figure famous for giving away the bigger pear. He is currently under siege by the Yellow Turbans. According to the historical record, he should ask Liu Bei for help, boosting Liu Bei's reputation for nothing. A few years later, he'd end up in Cao Cao's hands and lose his head for nothing.
Fortunately, he successfully activates the Fourth Calamity, allowing him to recruit players from Blue Star.
To defeat the Yellow Turbans, avoid boosting Liu Bei's reputation, and keep Cao Cao from taking his head, and above all to end the chaos with his own hands, he starts recruiting players from Blue Star to work for him.
At the same time, a virtual game called New Three Kingdoms appears on Blue Star. With its extraordinary freedom and immersive story-driven gameplay, it earns rave reviews from players in Longguo and makes players overseas green with envy. They try every trick they can to experience the wonders of New Three Kingdoms.
With help from a bunch of players who are just here for the laughs, Kong Rong kicks the Yellow Turbans, punches Dong Zhuo, and beats up Cao Cao. The player ranks keep growing, and Kong Rong's power rapidly expands.
When Taishi Ci arrives, he stares in utter disbelief at the soldiers inside the city, who are saying all sorts of strange things.
Liu Bei arrives with reinforcements. "Wait, this isn't what I heard was going on!"
The various warlords are all at their wits' end. None of them wants to provoke this group of mysterious strangers who act erratically and defy all logic.
Longguo players: "New Three Kingdoms is so much fun!"
Overseas players: "Brother Long, take us with you! Can you annex our country too? We want to play New Three Kingdoms!"
Then Wang Lei discovers that he can transmigrate to other worlds too: Water Margin? Journey to the West? Investiture of the Gods?
