I Flirted with My Boyfriend, Who Died Years Ago, in a Rules Horror Story

Three years after my boyfriend died, I found him in a series of ghost stories.

Unfortunately,

he had become a BOSS and remembered nothing.

And now he was hunting me.

In the first instance, he grabbed me by the throat, then let go at the very last second.

“...Do I know you?”

In the second, he was the gentle, courteous mayor of a small town.

Yet every night, he appeared outside my window and silently kept watch until dawn.

The third was set at the university where we first met.

He secretly tutored me in the middle of the night, and personally killed a student who broke the rules for my sake.

Everyone said BOSSes had no feelings and existed only to kill.

Yet every page of his diary was covered with my name.

The System wiped his memories again and again, and he drew my face again and again.

The final instance.

He completely lost control, and the System crushed every trace of his consciousness.

I stood before him and called out:

“Shen Que, have you forgotten what you promised me?”

He stopped.

Then he reached out and pulled me into his arms.

Later, the whole world said that the most terrifying BOSS in the rules-based horror stories had actually lost long ago.

He lost to someone named Lin Zhou.
