Lantau Village on the southeast coast is a semi-closed traditional fishing village that retains old crafts such as catching the sea and making fishing salt. It is also facing the dilemma of the exodus of young people and the decline of offshore fisheries. Outside the village stretch soft tidal flats, scattered islands and reefs, and shallow bays rich in seafood. In the depths are hidden secret places and legends passed down by the older generation of seafarers.
