The Obsessive Lover’s Caged Bird

[Two male leads + rekindled romance + school life + forced love + both are each other's only one]

[Brooding, unhinged top with an overwhelming possessive streak x kind, steadfast, sickly bottom]

[Qin Huiyu x Chen Yixi]

For Qin Huiyu, life had been shrouded in a stifling family atmosphere ever since the day he was born. There was no freedom and no love, only endless surveillance and control.

He thought that growing up in such a family would gradually turn him into a cold, emotionless monster.

Perhaps Heaven couldn't bear to watch, so it sent him Chen Yixi, the person who brought warmth and feeling into his life.

Just as happiness finally seemed within reach, just as the scenes he had pictured day and night were about to become reality, fate gave everything a gentle nudge and sent it crashing down in an instant. He finally understood that only by becoming strong enough could he have the right to control everything.

So he chose to leave.

Six years later, they meet again. At first, Qin Huiyu thinks he should take it slow, step by step, and let Chen Yixi choose to return to his side of his own accord.

But when he sees Chen Yixi laughing and chatting with a blind date, and sees that same tender look in his eyes, the one he used to give Qin Huiyu six years ago, he can no longer hold back. The feelings he has kept suppressed for so long finally erupt that night.

Qin Huiyu pins Chen Yixi to the bed and kisses him with trembling lips, over and over, as if trying to make up for all six years apart.

He gently bites the other's earlobe, his voice hoarse and stubborn. "Chen Yixi, I'm the only one who can be by your side."
