The Paper Doll I Raised Is the Final Boss

Before Wen Yu'an was laid off by the game company, she hid a line of text deep in the code of Lu Ze, the final boss: “If you ever become conscious, remember to come find me.”

Three years later, Lu Ze crawls out of her phone screen. He’s aloof, obsessive, possessive to the extreme, and won’t let her get more than ten meters away from him.

What’s worse, their senses are linked. She can feel his heart flutter, as well as every time he holds himself back and every time he loses control.

With the game company hunting them down, Wen Yu'an risks her life to protect him. Then she discovers that Lu Ze broke through the dimensional barrier not to take revenge on his creator, but to ask her one question:

“Does your world still want me?”

I try to run, only to find that every exit has turned into a screen, with him standing on the other side, smiling at me.

Only later do I learn that he was torn to pieces in the abyss for three years just to come find me.

When the game company tries to wipe his memory, I stand in front of him.

And he tells me, “Wen Yu'an, your world is mine. And so are you.”
