Since time immemorial, Lingshan has stood supreme, the divine path has ruled heaven and earth, and all living beings have been as insignificant as ants.
The life and death of mortals, the rise and fall of lands and waters, the tides of the world: all were decreed by a single heavenly edict from the Celestial Court. Countless beings lived as vassals from generation to generation, forever destined to be sacrifices.
The youth Su Chuan was born into humble circumstances. He guarded a corner of Beishan and lived as an ordinary mortal.
When the divine laws of the Celestial Court descended and gods came to the mortal realm, intent on crushing mortal lands with heavenly might and stamping out all rebels, everyone feared the heavens, revered the gods, and dared not oppose them in the slightest.
Su Chuan alone refused to believe in destiny or accept the gods' laws.

From guarding a mountain amid scorched earth to establishing a realm for humanity;
From one man defying the gods to all people resisting heaven.
