A humorous tale about first-year student Song Qian repeatedly getting on the wrong side of Xie Yanchi, a campus celebrity at Jiang University, after the semester begins. Song Qian accidentally offends Xie Yanchi three times: first, she knocks his coffee flying; then, her underwear falls onto his head while it is hanging out to dry; and finally, she pulls his pants right off. Unable to take it anymore, Xie Yanchi corners Song Qian against a wall and demands an explanation. In her panic, Song Qian pulls out fifty yuan and says it's payment for buying a duck, leaving Xie Yanchi with the wrong idea. She later explains that her roommate had asked her to buy roast duck. Xie Yanchi accepts the fifty yuan and says he'll provide Song Qian with a service in return. The story is lighthearted and funny, full of dramatic tension and sweet romantic contrasts.
