If You Could Hear My Eyes Say They Love You

[Childhood Friends] [Reunion After Years Apart] [Running Away While Pregnant] [Mending a Broken Relationship] [Happy Ending]

Lin Ting and Gu Yan were childhood friends, innocent and inseparable. They were supposed to head overseas together to study, but Lin Ting's father suddenly passed away.

Not wanting to hold Gu Yan back, Lin Ting tearfully lied: "You go ahead. I'll join you later." Then she turned away and swallowed all her grievances alone.

Five years later, Gu Yan returned to the country, only to find a little girl who looked just like Lin Ting at his doorstep. The paternity test confirmed it: she was his biological daughter.

The child sobbed, "Mommy can't see. She got lost..." Gu Yan searched frantically and finally found Lin Ting at Anning Hospital, blind in both eyes and refusing treatment.

She was painfully emaciated, alone and waiting to die. Gu Yan didn't dare reveal who he was, so he disguised himself as a "mute orderly" and watched over her day and night. Then his identity was exposed, and the truth from years ago came to light: She had been forced to give up studying abroad and had given birth to their daughter alone. Now she also had eye cancer. He took her for treatment and used their daughter's voice to keep her from wanting to die.

On the day her sight returned, the first thing she saw was his bloodshot eyes. Gu Yan said, "Lin Ting, whatever happened back then, I know only that I love you and our daughter."
