When other people awaken portals, they become traders between two worlds or saviors of other realms.
When Lin Que awakened a portal, a tentacled monster from a Cthulhu-style cultivation world nearly chewed him up like a spicy snack.
After escaping by the skin of his teeth, he realized one thing:
Exploring another world alone is too dangerous. He needed a powerful ally!
And the Great Xia Nation was the biggest, strongest ally in the entire universe!
So he floored the gas in a stolen heap of junk from another world and crashed straight into Great Xia's highest-level military exclusion zone, raising his hands and shouting:
"Quick! Arrest me! I want to hand myself over to the nation!"
He thought he could cling to the nation's support and lie flat, living a safe, leisurely life while he grew stronger.
Who knew Lin Que would also get bound to a [Concept-Level Sharp-Tongued System]?
As long as he mocked others with pinpoint precision and got under their skin, he could inflict real damage on creatures from other worlds!
And so, the Great Xia Nation's whole approach went completely off the rails
Facing a cold, aloof cultivation master, Lin Que said, "Did you sharpen that sword intent with a rusty nail file? Even a dog would shake its head at it."
The master spat blood on the spot, his Daoist heart shattered!
Facing an arrogant alien deity, Lin Que said, "You look like a steamed bun that didn't rise properly, and you dare call yourself the Creator? Did your mother mistake the placenta for your face when she gave birth to you?"
The deity was so offended that it became free labor for Great Xia's construction projects!
Watching Lin Que's achievements, Great Xia's leader fell into deep thought:
"We only meant to develop other worlds. We didn't plan on roasting their big shots so badly that they all quit the internet..."
Lin Que shrugged. "If I have no morals, you can't guilt-trip me. Don't waste your energy overthinking. If there's a problem, just go berserk!"
