An Orange Summer: An Unforgettable, Eternal Summer

At the start of their first year of high school, Xia Ju meets Cheng Yangyang and Chen Zhi. One is used to enduring hardship, tightly bound by the rules of her family; one is bold and passionate, like a fire that refuses to go out; and one is calm and perceptive, always spotting the cracks others overlook. The three teenagers, who had never crossed paths before, are brought together by an accident and drawn into an orange grove that seems peaceful on the surface.

In the season when the scent of oranges fills the air, school rumors, anonymous messages, and buried events from the past begin to surface one after another. Some want the truth to sink to the bottom of the lake. Some try to trap one another with family ties and guilt. And, pushed by fate, someone makes the choice to live for herself for the very first time.

As the secrets draw closer, everyone must face choices they can no longer avoid: keep silent or expose the lies; submit to a life arranged for them or break free of their shackles at any cost; let the past define them or choose their own future.

An orange peel is slightly bitter, but its flesh conceals a sweet taste. The teenagers are the same. They slowly mature through storms, misunderstandings, and loss. What they seek is more than just an answer: it is a path to freedom, courage, and their true selves.
