[Naive corporate drone sweetheart vs. scheming, calculating business tycoon]
[Powerful man falls for her after years of indifference + fighting to win her over + married life + six-year age gap + both virgins]
Shen Youning transmigrates into a book, becoming the wicked supporting character who drugs the male lead, gets pregnant, and forces him to become engaged to her.
In the original story, after successfully getting engaged, she causes trouble at every turn until she gets herself killed. The male lead catches her fooling around with a young heartthrob, and she miscarries while fleeing in panic.
Not only does it turn out that the child isn't the male lead's, but Shen Youning isn't really the Shen family's heiress either.
When the true heiress, his beloved first love, returns, the male lead sends Shen Youning overseas, where she dies miserably...
Shen Youning's legs go weak. To save her own life, she decisively decides to avoid the main plot. I want to live!
She lets her younger sister take credit for saving Old Madam Shen. Shen Youning says, "Quick, quick, quick! This blessing is all yours!"
She takes the initiative to help the true heiress reclaim her place and brings her and the male lead together.
Shen Youning says, "Quick, quick, quick! Take him!"
But the plot doesn't unfold as she expected...
The true heiress becomes her loyal little sidekick, while her younger sister acts like a mouse seeing a cat whenever she encounters the male lead.
And then there's Gu Xiaofan. She went out of her way to avoid him, so why is he begging her to get engaged?
-
As the plot spins further and further out of her control, Shen Youning steels herself and publicly admits that she's a fake heiress and that she schemed against the male lead.
She thinks this will disgust him and make him stay away from her.
Instead, he pins her forcefully against the door and bites her shoulder to vent his anger.
"Shen Youning, in this life and the last, I'm your husband. Don't even think about leaving me!"
