After the Supernatural Descended, I Could See the Gaps in the Rules

On the first night the rules descended, every shopping mall in Linjiang City lost power at once.

The broadcast repeated only three sentences: Do not look up. Do not answer when strangers call your name. Do not step off the yellow tiles.

Shen Zhixing takes his younger sister into an underground supermarket, where he discovers that the three rules contradict one another: the broadcast orders everyone to stay silent, but the exit signs demand they shout their names; those forbidden to look up must still read the countdown overhead; and those who cannot leave the yellow tiles find only a red line beneath their feet.

He exploits the loopholes and survives with his sister.

But the next day, a new line appears on the rules posted across the city: "Anyone who discovers a loophole will be dealt with first."

From then on, Shen Zhixing must dodge the rules while searching for the source of their arrival. Every person he saves gives away his location, and every rule he dismantles is replaced by an even more brutal one.
