My name is Wu Di. I'm from Dragon Nation, and in the year 2200, I'm the regional representative of the Civilization Seed Management Bureau.
My mission is to travel through the river of history, find the true “strongest” in every era, and bring them to the modern world to fight for Dragon Nation!
In this era, the Bureau has ruled that only three nations qualify to preserve the “civilization seed”:
The Nation of Sakura, Western Europe, and India.
Dragon Nation ranks fourth, on the verge of being placed on the “Erasure List.”
How dare a few small nations, barely a few hundred years old, look down on our glorious five-thousand-year Chinese civilization?!
The wager has been set:
Dragon Nation may send the mightiest figure from each historical era to face the historical champions of the candidate nations.
If we win enough battles by force, Dragon Nation's historical timeline will be preserved.
For every battle we lose, one stretch of Dragon Nation's history will be erased forever, completely.
So when the sons and daughters of China step into the arena, they fight for more than victory or defeat.
What we defend is every inch of forgotten memory, the spirit that has burned for five thousand years without ever going out!
