My name is Su Mo, and I transmigrated. I never expected my first scene to be me barging into my younger sister's live stream while she was playing with a spirit board. Even more unbelievably, I had a brain fart and swallowed the spirit. Yes, literally swallowed it. The live stream exploded, the screen filled with "666," and I became a top-tier star in the paranormal category.
But trouble came with it. The neighbor's child was afflicted with a "fortune-stealing spell," a rich socialite was using "paper puppets" to steal people's faces, and in Shunde's silkworm village, someone was drawing out human lives like silk from cocoons. These seemingly unrelated ghost stories all pointed to the same colossal entity: a cultural company called "Mirage Tower." They bribed sorcerers, repackaged dark arts, and sold curses as products. Their plan was to use a "Night Parade of a Hundred Ghosts," broadcast live across the internet on the Ghost Festival, to make all of humanity their offering.
Oh, right. There's also an inheritance left by Lord Zhong Kui and several spiritual treasures of unknown origin inside me. They're quite effective at driving out evil, though every now and then they cause enough of a commotion to get my live stream banned.
I wanted to take it easy, but the rules wouldn't allow it. Since I'm the only Zhong Kui of this age, I'll go live and show those monsters hurting people from behind their screens:
I'm serious about exorcising evil, and I'm doing it live.
