Highway Survival: Have My Vehicles Gained Sentience and Started Cheating?

Everyone transmigrates to a highway survival world, driving onward along roads teeming with dangerous creatures.

While everyone else gets a ride-on toy or roller skates, Lin Yi starts from the start with a fully insured semi-truck!

He thought he’d hit the jackpot, but before the game had even begun, his vehicle awakened self-awareness and ran off!

Wait, I haven’t even gotten in yet!

At last, Lin Yi caught up with the heavy truck and finally breathed a sigh of relief.

“What? The truck’s out of fuel?”

“No problem. It can cheat.”

[The heavy truck is out of fuel and can’t move, so it burns its CPU and activates infinite fuel mode.]

[The monsters keep getting stronger and won’t die when hit, so the truck burns more CPU and activates a life-force field.]

As time went on, Lin Yi’s other vehicles started acting strange too...

While the other players struggled in agony through the apocalypse, Lin Yi lounged beneath a parasol, sipping chilled watermelon juice. His vehicles had already plowed up the entire survival highway.

At the end of the road, countless abyssal demons descended and blocked the way, plunging all the players into despair.

Lin Yi sighed helplessly. “Today... I’ll let you run red lights.”

The next second, the entire road began to tremble.

The heavy truck transformed into a metal planet and charged straight ahead!

The supercar became a beam of light. Ever been hit by a car moving at the speed of light?

The armored vehicle said nothing. It simply deployed a planet-buster cannon!

All the invading enemies were crushed to death. As the Demon God died, tears of despair streamed down its face.

“So this is humanity’s strongest? We’ve lost...”

Lin Yi raised one finger and gently wagged it.

“No, no... I really am just a driver.”

“And not even a very good one...”
