The Grave Robbers' Chronicles: Chen Pi and My Stories

[Chen Pi A Si x You] First-person, female-reader-insert fanfic set in The Mystic Nine

(Feigning death + beloved by the Nine Gates + happy ending + System later on)

You were originally Kong Qing, a young Chinese medicine practitioner from the 21st century with exceptional medical skills. By an unexpected twist, you were born into your favorite book, The Grave Robbers' Chronicles, in the era of The Mystic Nine, and became Er Yuehong's adopted daughter. But fate was unkind: you fell ill and were left with a disability in your legs, so you could only live in a wheelchair.

Then there was a young man following you around, with a nine-clawed hook hanging from his waist. Like a silly puppy, he wouldn't leave no matter how many times you chased him away. Tell him to kneel and he knelt; beat him with a whip and he wouldn't fight back. Was this really Chen Pi A Si?!

Sadly, your peaceful days didn't last long. I died in a carefully laid plan, and my death was horrific.

That day, the Nine Gates were unnaturally quiet. Only a young man carrying a nine-clawed hook was there, pounding frantically on the door to the secret chamber in the Red Mansion.

But after who knows how long, you were reborn, bringing along a late-arriving System. It told you that you had to complete missions, or you would be electrocuted along the way.

"What the hell, do you think I'm into little boys?!"
