Earth stops spinning, and the world splits in two: eternal daylight burns like fire, while eternal night freezes like ice.
In the crack between them lives a group of people who survive by scavenging trash.
Chen Zhou is one of them. All he wants is to save enough money to buy medicine for his younger sister. Then, during a mission deep in the Daylight Zone, he unexpectedly awakens the ability to find water. From then on, he becomes the "walking water source" the Core Zone is desperate to capture, and a pawn coveted by every faction.
But no one knows that he has brought back more than water. He has also uncovered a truth buried for twenty years:
Earth stopped spinning not because of a natural disaster, but because someone flipped a switch.
Now, with these hands that once picked up scrap metal, he will set the world spinning again, or destroy it completely.
