After the demon cult's Yan Beifei (Liu Songren) helps the Central Plains masters defeat Yagyu Ichi (Xu Shaoqiang), his entire family is slaughtered. His son, Yan Guhong (Liu Songren), is taken away by Qin Baichuan (Qin Pei), the man who killed his father. Guhong secretly escapes and is raised by Xin Xiaoyue (Meng Jingting), who trains him to be an assassin. Later, Guhong receives an order to kill Baichuan, only to discover that Baichuan is the father of Mo Chou (Cai Xiaoyi), the woman he loves. Meanwhile, he learns that Chou was once assaulted by Baichuan's trusted aide, Chu Jiangnan (Zhen Zhiqiang). As it turns out, Jiangnan is plotting to betray Baichuan. Guhong is forced into the conflict between the two, and Jiangnan later persuades Yagyu to return to the martial world and take on Guhong, setting the stage for a fierce clash.
