Chen Guangming suddenly receives a letter from his father, who has been missing for two years. It says that an old friend is coming to visit and asks him to give the visitor a warm welcome.
But the person who shows up is a young man about Chen Guangming's age.
He says his name is Zhisheng, that he and Chen Guangming were childhood friends, and that they each have a token of their promise to one another.
But Chen Guangming has no memory of any of this!
Zhisheng is strange: his scent is strange, his body temperature is strange, his appearance is strange, he's strangely indifferent to certain things, and he's strangely clingy with Chen Guangming.
Chen Guangming has to admit that ever since Zhisheng came to live with him, he's been sleeping better and better. But since Zhisheng arrived, he's also been running into one strange incident after another.
What else can he do? He'll just have to keep him.
But which one of them is really keeping the other?
