John Wick (Keanu Reeves), who only recently suffered the pain of losing his wife, never expected one hardship after another to come his way. A gang of Russian thugs set their sights on his 1964 Ford Mustang, then broke into his home and killed his beloved dog right in front of him. They also beat John mercilessly and stole his car. The car thief (Alfie Allen) is the son of crime boss Viggo Tarasov (Michael Nyqvist). When Viggo hears what happened, he becomes extremely nervous, because John has a terrifying reputation. He was once a legendary, ruthless assassin who killed many of the Tarasovs' most troublesome enemies, but he gave up that life for his wife. Furious, John rejects Viggo's offer to settle things and decides to take revenge alone...
