Chronicles of the Spirit Wielder

After the world changes, humanity discovers that the obsessions buried deep within the heart can become a force capable of changing the world.

Some gain power from the desire to protect, some descend into madness because they cannot accept defeat, and others drag the whole world into a new order to realize their ideals.

Chu Haotian was just an ordinary boy, but after dying, he returns because of his obsession with "not wanting to die." To survive, he must hunt out-of-control Spirit Bearers and absorb the power they leave behind.

He believes that emotions only cloud one's judgment, and that efficiency is the key to survival.

That is, until he meets a group of people completely unlike himself:

Captain Luokeji, who bears the pain of his past yet still wants to protect his companions; Yi Qian, who possesses immense power but longs to be understood; Duo Qing, a genius researcher who keeps pushing past her limits for the sake of her dream; and Creator K, who seeks to change the entire era.

In this new age, where power determines fate, Chu Haotian gradually discovers that the truly dangerous people are not those who possess power, but those consumed by obsession.

As the Orderly Alliance, which represents absolute order; the Enlightened Faction, which pursues freedom and development; the Fire of the Sacred Ring, which wallows in desire; and unknown forces seeking to control everything step onto the stage in turn, humanity must answer a question anew:

After gaining the power to change the world, should humanity choose order or freedom?

The boy who returned from death will seek the answer for this era through countless choices and sacrifices.

For obsession grants humanity power.

But what determines humanity's future is how we face the demons in our hearts.
