Modern astronomer Shen Xingyao is struck by ball lightning and wakes up in the Northern Song dynasty as Shen Weiqing, a minor official in the Bureau of Astronomy.
Gifted with star-sight, he suffers the agony of a “falling star” whenever he draws on his modern knowledge, forgetting the knowledge he used.
As the New and Old Factions clash fiercely during the Xining era and the belief in celestial omens shackles the court, he wields the stars as a blade, navigating the world of emperors and powerful officials. He does not seek to change the dynasty’s fate, only to keep the truth alive and leave the spark of stargazing in the world.
Gentlemen, come and see! 😳😳😳
