Synopsis of The Interstellar Princess's Mental Power Upgrade Log
Everyone at the orphanage in District Seven of the planet Cohen knew Ling Xiaoxing was a monster. Purple eyes, skin and bones, abandoned at the entrance to a garbage port and taken in. Nobody wanted her, nobody loved her, and even her name had been picked on a whim.
She thought so too. Until the day space pirates broke into the orphanage, and a burst of golden light exploded from her body.
She knocked three pirates to the ground all by herself.
After that day, a man in gray came to see her. He said, “Your mental power is awakening from E-rank. With every rank you rise, you get one step closer to an answer: Why were you wrapped in cloth bearing the imperial family's crest when you were born? Why were you abandoned on a wasteland planet, with no one coming to look for you for fifteen years?”
Ling Xiaoxing didn't think that far ahead. She only wanted to protect Grandma, A-Qi, and the battered but cozy orphanage.
But she gradually discovered that the light in her palm could do more than knock pirates down. It could heal wounds, sense enemies five miles away, and throw the formation of twenty attackers into chaos. Every breakthrough came with a golden pain: D-rank, C-rank, B-rank. On the road to S-rank, she climbed every step with her own blood.
Later, a few people joined her side.
A one-legged repairman always stood to her right, while an old man in gray watched from the shadows, ready to cover her back. Later still, at the Imperial Military Academy, she met more people willing to trust her with their backs.
At first, she only wanted to survive on a wasteland planet.
Then she wanted to protect that planet.
And later, the entire galaxy waited for her to return to her rightful place.
But Ling Xiaoxing never forgot the day she climbed to S-rank
