On Azeria, a western continent of magic, Liang Yifei is the "good-for-nothing holy vessel" everyone despises. Born with an affinity for all seven branches of magic, he is so lazy that he never trains and can't even be bothered to cast a beginner's Fireball. Banished by his family to the Forbidden Forest, he only wants to find a hollow tree and sleep, but accidentally awakens the lost [Divine Godhead of Sloth]: every minute he lazes around doubles his mana capacity; every yawn triggers a "dimensionality-strike" effect; and every time he says, "What a hassle," a rare item is guaranteed to drop.
But fate refuses to let him live in peace. The corrupted Demon Lord Asasel sets his sights on Liang Yifei's holy vessel and sends Shadow Hunters to pursue him. Liang Yifei yawns as he fights back, only to discover that every enemy he defeats causes him to passively absorb their corruption, gradually making the world see him as a new threat. Frowning, he embarks on a lonely journey, seeking a way to purge the corruption while being hunted by forces from every side.
Along the way, he saves a cursed elf princess, only to earn a dragon's hatred; casually dismantles a corrupted church, only to become a thorn in the pope's side; and can't be bothered to explain himself, so he solves everything with his fists. When the tide of corruption engulfs the continent and everyone expects a hero to save the day, Liang Yifei sits lazily on the throne and yawns. “Don't make a fuss. We'll talk after I wake up.”
