Ultraman: I Just Want to Take It Easy

A sixteen-year-old gaming addict, Wudao Shenheya, also transmigrates into the world of Ultraman Leo and gets a new identity in the Ultraman universe. Since he has never studied Japanese and can't speak it, everyone takes him for an idiot. What he doesn't realize is that he can't understand a word anyone says, so he communicates with them entirely through channel relays, occasionally leading them into a trap.

During the cane-wielding rookie's training...

Dan Moroboshi sits in a Jeep with both hands on the wheel and looks at him sternly. "Shenheya! Charge at the Jeep!"

Wudao Shenheya doesn't even spare him a glance. He turns, walks into the house, sits down, and drinks his sweet beverage, ignoring Dan's fury.

Gen Ohtori watches, dumbfounded. Just as he's about to imitate him, the cane-wielding alien beats him until he's hopping around.

Dan Moroboshi watches him walk away, angry and helpless. All he can do is patiently try communicating with sign language, thinking that surely he'll understand now.

But Wudao Shenheya can't understand sign language either. Thinking Dan is doing a hand-dance routine, he starts clapping.

Instead, this behavior saves him from Dan Moroboshi's beating. Whenever Gen Ohtori faces another brutal training session, his eyes roll back.

Protagonist: Can't understand a word, you know.

Gen Ohtori, half dead: Please treat the trainee kindly.

Dan Moroboshi, utterly hopeless: I'm out of ideas...
