In 1980s Hong Kong, outlaws rose to prominence and the streets were full of dangerous characters.
As long as you dared to fight, you had a chance to make it!
Li Wenrui thought he had been reborn into a new life, but instead he had transmigrated into a vast Hong Kong cinematic universe made up of gangster films.
Born in a public housing estate in Tsuen Wan, Li Wenrui used his fists to break free from poverty and his blade to cut down every demon and villain in his path. He relied on the loosely organized Number Gang to establish his own Rui faction, then seized the Tsuen Wan docks and made a name for himself when Big D died.
Two years passed in a flash. As Wo Sing Wo prepared to elect its next chairman, Lam Fai-lok tried every way to persuade Li Wenrui to switch sides and bolster his campaign...
As his business grew, Li Wenrui rose step by step from a public-housing punk whom everyone looked down on to the respected Mr. Li.
Super great patriotic article
This is the first time I've seen a pig's trotter get two stars for being patriotic! What are these people thinking?
This is called gangster [what][what][what][what]
I really can't believe that the reason for the low score is patriotism.
Hey hey hey hey hey hey
Well written seven stars
Like patriotic literature
The rating is low, this novel is pretty good
Okay, even though the last book was basically a dud, I'm still quite optimistic about this one. He wrote it really well.
Don't write protagonists, write supporting roles, movie characters.
