[Underworld + Ensemble Cast + Passion + Martial Arts + Realism]
I'm eighteen, fresh out of school, and just drifting through life.
When my brother got beaten up, I stabbed someone. Before long, the underworld in Lanzhou was calling me Boss.
But all I wanted was a job. Security guard, 4,200 a month, with the full benefits package.
My boss, Shen Liu, wore a white shirt, sat in his office, and talked like some high-ranking official.
He told me, "My ship is going under."
I said, "Brother Liu, I'm with you."
Later, the ship sank.
I left Lanzhou with a few brothers.
That summer, the sea wind burned right through your bones.
The story of a young man from a small town, forced into the underworld.
