Nolen from Zephyr City is a young man with mediocre qualifications who relies on luck to live his life. He grew up with his childhood sweethearts Seres and Mia, and their life was ordinary but stable.
Until the underground experimental core was destroyed, the entire city collapsed amid explosions and monsters. Nolen lost the aunt and uncle who raised him, and Ceres lost his father. The church told the survivors: Four ancient crystals can calm disasters.
They embark on a journey. Fire, wind, water, earth, each crystal has a heavy price hidden behind it. Nolen began to see memories that were not his own, heard the cry in the crystal, and gradually saw that the "rightness" he had always believed in might have been wrong from the beginning.
