The play tells the story of Major Baja, who was born in a noble family but his family was in decline. Because his brother owed huge debts, he had to marry the creditor's daughter Vanida in order to protect the family honor. Their married life was full of twists and turns due to the opposition of Baja's mother and the destruction of his girlfriend. After a series of twists and misunderstandings, they finally fell in love.
