This drama tells the story of Major Bajaj, who comes from a prominent family that has fallen on hard times. When his younger brother incurs a huge debt, Bajaj is forced to marry Vanida, the creditor's daughter, to protect his family's honor. Their married life is fraught with difficulties because of Bajaj's mother's opposition and his girlfriend's interference. After a series of complications and misunderstandings, they eventually fall in love.
