My Three-Year-Old Daughter Comes to Find Me, Saying Her Birth Mother Is Song Yuqi

[Showbiz] [Dad] [One Female Lead] [Daily Life] [Variety Show]

Fang Xun transmigrates to a parallel world and discovers that its entertainment industry is woefully underdeveloped.

Neither the films and TV shows everyone knows by heart nor the songs beloved by all exist here.

So he switches into plagiarism mode, bringing over hit songs from his original world.

The good news: the songs become hits. Jay Chou, Leehom Wang, Doctor Chen, and JJ Lin all ask him to write songs for them.

The bad news: he doesn't become famous. Nobody recognizes him when he walks down the street.

Then a TV station invites him to play a chef.

To get into character, Fang Xun rents a restaurant to experience the life for himself.

One day, Song Yuqi unexpectedly enters his life, and the two gradually grow closer.

Just as Song Yuqi is about to confess her feelings, she discovers Fang Xun has a daughter.

Heartbroken, Song Yuqi leaves for another country.

Meanwhile, Fang Xun is bewildered by the daughter who has suddenly appeared. After asking around, he learns that she is the daughter he and Song Yuqi will have in the future, and that she accidentally transmigrated to this world.

He contacts Song Yuqi right away, only to find that she has blocked every way of reaching her.

To let his daughter see her mother, Fang Xun uses his connections in the entertainment industry to invite Song Yuqi onto a variety show.

When the two finally meet, their misunderstanding is cleared up.

Song Yuqi: "Fang Xun, what are you going to do?"

Fang Xun: "She's my daughter. Of course I'm going to raise her."

Song Yuqi: "She's my daughter too. I'm raising her as well!"

After that, the two appear on the variety show together. A program that was originally packed with competitive tension takes on a romantic air whenever they're around.

The production team: "Come on, stop showing off your love. This isn't a dating show!"
