My name is Chen Mo, and I inherited a funeral shop that's on the verge of closing. In this city, permeated by "eerie rules," no one thinks much of me, the guy who delivers clothes to the dead and folds paper offerings. That is, until one night, the city's strongest "Swordbearer" squad rushes into my shop, helpless in the face of a cursed corpse. I light a cigarette and silently pull out a paper effigy I made myself from under the counter. "Don't panic. I'm familiar with this kind of thing."
"Follow my rules. First, burn three sticks of incense, then order a redwood coffin."
"As for the fee for dealing with a corpse that's risen... that'll cost extra."
While others tremble within the rules, unable to find a way to survive, I've already made my own rules and sent them on their way.
