A possessive, obsessive emperor with a sharp tongue and a soft heart X a beautiful, tragic general, disabled but determined to persevere
(The general loses both legs and eyes at first, but recovers later.)
As an Omega, Xu Zhuxin became an undefeated general through his own efforts, only to be framed by treacherous ministers, stripped of his martial arts, and left without his legs or eyes. He was cast into an enemy kingdom and married off to its emperor, Fei Hanyu.
The emperor of the enemy kingdom had a blood feud with Xu Zhuxin: he believed Xu Zhuxin had killed his mother.
He suffered from a vicious illness. The scent of an Omega's pheromones could send him into an uncontrollable frenzy, making him kill people.
By chance, Fei Hanyu discovered that Xu Zhuxin could suppress his illness.
Xu Zhuxin refused, so Fei Hanyu forced him.
Fei Hanyu's words were thick with jealousy: "I heard General Xu once had someone he loved."
"Choose one: your beloved's life or me."
That proud plum blossom eventually bowed its head, only for Fei Hanyu to crush it little by little.
Later, Xu Zhuxin learned that the person he loved had been the mastermind behind the plot that ruined him.
Betrayed by the one he loved and forced by Fei Hanyu, he looked at the chains by his feet, having already lost all hope of living.
Fortunately, Xu Zhuxin was rescued by his disciple. He drank the Forget-Love Potion, enduring the agony of heartbreak, and soaked for three days in a cleansing spring to wash away his mark and forget everything.
