(Yandere + magic + supernatural powers + academy + sweet on the outside, dark within + youthful angst) Devoted yandere puppy × sweet-on-the-outside, dark-on-the-inside heroine

One of the boldest things Xia Xu'an ever did was push open a door that appeared out of nowhere in her room, on the night she was locked on the rooftop and got another scolding.
Before that, she was invisible to her whole class, the "good-for-nothing" daughter in her mother's eyes, and a wager Xie Ting casually threw away during a game of Truth or Dare.
Then that door appeared at the foot of her bed.
Beyond it lay a sky crossed by dragons, monsters stirring beyond the border, demons whispering among humans, and steam trains roaring through the city. Magic and supernatural powers intertwined, miracles she had only ever seen in comics. And she became the only one among all the "Gate Masters" capable of becoming a magician.
As she waited in the white space, a black-haired boy stepped out of the void. His scarlet eyes fixed on her as if she were a lost treasure he had finally recovered.
"Sis, I'm your disciple."
He said he would give her his wealth, his life, even his soul. But when he smiled, he seemed more demonic than a demon. Whenever she was so sad she wanted to die, he would whisper in her ear:
"Sis, don't die. If you do, I'll make the whole world pay for us."
His voice was as gentle as if he were whispering sweet nothings.
Only later did Xia Xu'an learn that he was one of the strongest magicians in this world, and also its most dangerous madman.
And she was the person he had waited and waited for.
Xia Xu'an: "Could you please let go of my clothes first?"
Xia Jin tilted his head and smiled. "Nope. Sis is mine."
