My grandfather has been sealing coffins all his life.
After he died, he left me two things.
A box of tools that no one wants.
There are also a few words I never took seriously.
"There's a ring in the coffin, don't answer it."
"There's a lot of stuff in there, don't touch it."
I never took these words seriously.
It was not until three years after his death that I sealed a coffin for him.
Just as the third nail fell, there were three sounds inside.
Boom. Boom. Boom.
Only then did I remember the last words my grandfather said:
"In our industry, we are not afraid of death."
"What I'm afraid of is that after the coffin is sealed, there will be something inside that will come out."
