When he wakes, Shen Mo is lying inside an elevator with no buttons, with six strangers beside him.
Two lines are engraved on the wall:
[Welcome to the First Round]
[There are seven participants in this round.]
The announcement says: Please confirm your numbers.
Shen Mo suddenly realizes he can name all six people, but can't remember a single thing he has experienced with any of them.
But a woman named Lin Wan says there are only six people here.
Seven people, six people. Who hasn't been counted?
Then the elevator mirror lights up. Six people stand in it. Shen Mo is nowhere to be seen.
Identities can be erased, memories rewritten, and rules can lie. Every round has a victory condition and a false rule designed to seem true. Believe it, and you will lose proof that you ever existed.
Doubt everything. It's Shen Mo's only way to survive.
But when the rules begin to seep into reality, Shen Mo must face one final question: the thing he should doubt most is doubt itself.
The plot is fascinating and beautiful!
