Jiang Wan, a graduate student in the History Department of Chongqing University, went to the Diaoyu City ruins to explore the site and dug out a rusty silver hairpin. After touching it, his soul transformed into the medical woman Shen Wantang who lived in 1258. She walked into this isolated city that was about to be besieged with her knowledge of modern history, farming skills taught by her grandmother, and half-knowledge of modern medicine. She knew that Brother Meng would die here, that Zhang Jue would die for his country, and that the city would eventually surrender. But what she didn't know was that the silver hairpin in her hand was a token of love inserted into her bun by a man at the temple fair; it traveled through eight hundred years just to return to her hand. Twenty-one years later, on the day when the city falls, she "awakens" to modern times and meets an independent curator in the Diaoyu City Museum who is looking for memories of her past life - the man smiles exactly like Zhang Jue who died for his country.

It restores the epic and tearful past of defending the Diaoyu City. It contains both the cruelty of war and the sincerity of ordinary people. It is soul-stirring to read and allows people to understand what the righteousness of family and country is. The author is sophisticated [like]
Fine chaff! Absolute chaff, she knew he would sacrifice his life for his country to make it difficult for his beautiful wife, but she still had no hesitation! A mixture of abuse, sweetness and abuse!
