In the Great Yin Dynasty, demons and monsters run rampant. When someone dies, they often leave behind a wisp of "deathly baleful energy."
The living avoid it at all costs, and even cultivators can go mad if they absorb too much.
After transmigrating, Xu Zhao becomes the most inconspicuous corpse keeper at a charity burial ground outside the city. He has no money, no connections, no talent, and only an old, limping black dog for company.
Then one rainy night, the county office delivers a coffin and gives him a special warning before leaving:
Under no circumstances are you to open the coffin tonight.
At the third quarter of the midnight hour, three dull thuds suddenly sound from inside the coffin.
The old black dog, usually afraid even of corpses, speaks for the first time:
"Open the coffin."
"The person inside... has already died once."
It is from that day on that Xu Zhao discovers the black dog can devour the remnants of baleful energy left by the dead. And with every wisp it swallows, he can take from the deceased their lifespan, martial arts, and even secrets that should have been buried with their bodies.
Not bad 🙂
Not exciting, too messy.
It's nonsense. This dog is like squeezing out toothpaste. Ask a little bit and tell a little bit.
Very strange. Will Heiye super evolve in the future?
